Composition of eight figures, in which a woman, in rich garments, is being dragged by her eager accusers before Christ. He is moving one of the men aside and releasing the woman from his grasp. On the wall behind Christ is a medallion of a Roman emperor, and to the right a glimpse of a pastoral landscape. Previously thought to be by Giorgione.
